Savings Contest

Cutting Your Costs can WIN you Money!

We are ALL looking to cut costs and save dollars for program services and staff. Share your agency’s creative cost saving idea(s) and potentially win $1000!

The process is easy! Fill out and submit the simple nomination form and JCSA will upload it on our website. When nominations close, the voting begins! You do not have to submit a nomination form to vote. Winners are selected on the basis of popular and judges’ votes based on the cost saving initiatives that are most creative, easy to replicate and successful!
Nomination categories vary by budget size.  Additionally, your agency can apply for the Best Green Cost Saving Solution for the best environmentally friendly practice and Best Collaborative Practice between two or more agencies.
The winner in each category wins $1000 and will be publicized on our widely disseminated e-newsletter and Journal of Jewish Communal Service. AND there’s more! At the end of the year,  JCSA will award an additional prize of $1000 to the organization that best refines and enhances a program! We’re not finished yet! By entering the contest your agency will receive field wide recognition and will have contributed to promoting and encouraging best cost saving practices throughout the Jewish communal world! There are NO losers! Everyone Wins!
All nominations must be submitted by the end of the day on Thursday, December 31, 2009.  Voting will take place between January 1st and Tu B'Shevat, January 29th! Winners will be announced around Purim at the beginning of March 2010!
We look forward to your participation!
